Description of the Domaine Esmonin Sylvie
Good medium red, a bit less saturated than the old-vines village wine. Very ripe, multifaceted nose offers dark raspberry, dried flowers and pungent pepper and mineral notes; an essence of Burgundy. Then vibrant and penetrating in the mouth, and a step up in class from the village wines

"Saturated, bright red-ruby. Precise aromas of black cherry, licorice, minerals and violet. Like liquid silk in the mouth, but with lovely sappy energy to the black cherry and dark chocolate flavors. Finishes broad, perfumed and long. These wines seem a bit stunted today owing to the cold cellar temperature."
