Description of the Domaine Esmonin Sylvie
Bright red. Very primary aromas of black cherry and dark berries. Juicy and sweet in the mouth, showing a supple texture to the bright flavors of black raspberry, flowers and spices. This lovely village wine should give considerable early pleasure.
Allen Meadows : 90 points
"This too is a very ripe wine in the context of the 2017 vintage with its lightly wooded nose of plum, spice, earth and forest floor. As usual, there is more power and mid-palate concentration to the sappy medium-bodied flavors that also exude a discreet minerality onto the more complex and slightly more structured finale. As it usually is, this is an excellent Gevrey villages and well worth your interest."
